 You are bidding on the rare LP:

Spur- Spur of the moment, released by Cinema International (CSLP 1500) (24199/200) in Stereo in 1968 out of St. Louis, MO.  Original Pressing!

*The front of the cover is signed by bassist/vocalist Rick Willard- "Don, Just Roll With The Flow- Rick Willard"- (see photo).*

*You're in for a serious treat with this psych rarity!  Spur's 1968 debut album showcases some of the most beer-soaked heavy psychedelia of that era.  Not only does this band get seriously heavy with their psych jams, they are insanely wild in their unfettered, loose approach, creating a unique psych rock style that is the epitome of the word "free".  They also dive into some R&B-tinged garage rock, some highly bizarre drunken dada, and just some all-around great tunes.  "You Could Help Me Ease The Pain" is a remarkably beautiful tune, which is a surprising treat on such a debauched album.  Spur also dives into to some Flying Burrito Brothers-style country psych on "Turn to Jesus" and "Don't Never Trust a Woman (with your dope, hash, speed...)."  These songs easily rival the work of the Burrito Bros., and keep in mind that this was released before The Gilded Palace of Sin!  The extensive liner notes are absolutely hilarious, showcasing the band's great sense of humor.  Spur of the moment is a serious treasure, so crack a beer, and enjoy the sound of freedom.*

The thick Vinyl is visually graded in VG+ condition.  When looked at under a very bright light, the record shows a very rich luster and a few, incredibly light surface marks.  The record sounds absolutely fantastic!

The Cover is graded in VG condition, showing a fair amount of edge wear and some fairly minor ring wear.  Overall, it still looks very nice.

Shipping is calculated by ebay at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling.

For combined shipping, please add $1 for each additional LP you purchase. If you buy many records from me, I can ship them all together in one box, and charge you the actual cost I pay at the post office. International customers, please keep in mind that once you reach 4 pounds (roughly 4 LPs+), 1st Class International is no longer a shipping option, and you must ship Priority or Express.

Insurance is your option as a buyer. International customers, please keep in mind that you can only insure your item if you ship Express, which can be very expensive. Please contact me if you would prefer this option.
