Status Quo - In the Army Now - Promo Gatefold 4 Track 12" w/ Alternate Artwork
This is a rare 12" 4 track promo on it's own. The mix of "Dreaming" is a demo version. The fact that it comes in a plain white gatefold sleeve with alternate artwork stuck on the front and promo release notes stuck in the middle must make it one of the rarest bits of Quo vinyl around!
I can only assume that it was an internal record company sample, given where I got it from (see below), and that the artwork got scrapped, as I haven't seen this artwork before.
The record is in Ex condition with no spindle marks. The sleeve I would also say was Ex. The picture is peeling off the front a little (I'll leave it to the buyer to re-stick), as you'd expect as it was probably just stuck on with pritt stick by some lackey at Vertigo! The inside notes are in great nick, and the back is just plain white card with a bit of discolouration.
I got this in a job lot from someone who used to work for Polydor and Phonogram, so rest assured it is original, and certainly not fake.
