Description

Up for sale is an original US PROMO pressing of the Stooges' epic masterpiece Fun House on the original Elektra Butterfly label. This isn't proto-punk this is punk. The cover is conservatively graded VG+ with a PROMO sticker on the front. Only general wear is visible. No splits, hole punches or any major flaws to the cover. There is minor tape residue to  some of the corners and top. The vinyl is beautiful with all of its original gloss. The vinyl is conservatively graded EX. The second side does have a couple of very minor surface marks, which don't affect the play at all. Minor writing is visible on the side A label. Original pressings hardly ever turn up, let alone in this condition.
The vinyl definitely plays as a NM, with absolutely no pops or clicks audible. Comes out of my personal collection. Also included is the rarer late 60's Elektra company sleeve with pictures of the west coast headquarters on the back. The company sleeve itself is somewhat of a rarity itself considering it was used for only a short time period and hardly ever turns up.  The vinyl will be shipped in a special Mobile Fidelity anti-static sleeve outside of the cover in a special LP mailer.
