Description
I have just acquired a substantial group of Store-Stock Viva-Tonal
Columbias by Ruth Etting and Lee Morse. They are in stunning
condition, and of course, play like a dream!
I will be listing these (in no particular order) on ebay over the next
several weeks.
Ruth Etting is accompanied by a small but outstanding Jazz group
and she sings a great tune entitled "Maybe-Who Knows" on
Viva-Tonal Columbia 1801-D. I wonder who the accompanying
musicians are? A super rendition!
On the reverse side she sings "Deep Night" with probably different
instruments accompanying her.
Done in New York on April 8, 1929, the record is in lovely
excellent-plus (E+) condition, looks like it came right off the dealer's
shelf!
