Description

I have just acquired a substantial group of Store-Stock Viva-Tonal

Columbias by Ruth Etting and Lee Morse. They are in stunning

condition, and of course, play like a dream!

I will be listing these (in no particular order) on ebay over the next

several weeks.

Accompanied by a small studio Jazz Band (who?), Ruth Etting sings "I

Want To Meander In The Meadow" on 78rpm Viva-Tonal Columbia

1883-D.


On the reverse side, accompanied by the same group, she does "Now

I'm In Love."


Both sides were recorded in New York on June 25 (or 26), 1929.


This record is in lovely excellent-plus (E+) condition, and looks like it

came right off the 1929 dealer's shelf!
