Description
Stratford Johns "Reads his own Gumphlumph Stories" 1967
Rare album from the Z Cars/ Softly Softly/ Barlow actor. Originally a book release in the 1960's, he also appeared on kids tv show Jackanory. Here he is reading his self penned children's stories about an alien visitor to earth and his adventures with Johns and his family, see back cover for details.

Condition: Vinyl- EX, Side one has a light surface mark right across, a few light clicks but barely notices, looks worse than it is, side two unmarked, barely any surface noise.
Sleeve- EX, v. minor handling, very glossy to front, flipback sleeve, matt reverse, see pics
Inner sleeve- EX, MFP releases, double sided, nice condition
All records cleaned with a carbon fibre brush to remove dust and test played on my deck for an accurate grading.

(M) Mint- Brand new condition, cover and all extras perfect.
(NM) Near Mint- as new condition, has been played a few times but appears as new, very well looked after, inner sleeve, extras undamaged.
(EX) Excellent- Showing some signs of having been played, but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have very slight wear and / or minor creasing.
(VG) Very Good- The record has obviously been played many times, but shows no major deterioration in sound quality, despite minor surface marks that do not affect play. Sleeve, inner or extras may have a little wear, but no major defects.
(G) Good- The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated. Mild scratches. Cover & inner have folding, scuffs, splits, mild tears, etc
Lesser grades Fair & Poor, I wouldn't bother selling
I may also use + & - if it falls between grades
