"Recorded during the same 1972 sessions as Impulse's Space Is the Place, Discipline 27-II 
is definitely cut from the same cloth. The title cut is a side-long space chant number 
(just like "Space Is the Place"), presumably recorded as one lengthy piece, although the tune 
itself is divided into three sections (radio edits?). Listeners also get another in the instrumental 
Discipline series (Ra composed and recorded many Disciplines throughout the '70s); this time 
it's "Discipline 8." "Neptune" is another great space chant ("Have you heard the latest 
thing from Neptune?"), but the standout track is "Pan Afro," a great blowing session 
built on Ra's trademark interlocking horn riffs. A tough one to find, Discipline 27-II is 
well-worth seeking out, especially for those who like Space Is the Place.

The four parts are noticeable in the grooves
with actual (inexplicable) breaks between movements. picture shows this side) 

Grading conservatively, we are calling both the vinyl and the jacket strong VG+.
Vinyl looks and plays great, yet has 
some sleeve burns / lines that create some mild pops, mostly between
songs, and quieter moments. 
(Saturn was not known for quality pressings...) 
There are spindle marks on both sides, very few on side B. 
Run off grooves read  SR 538 A & B on respective sides.  There is no other writing in the run-off grooves.  Jacket has some shelf related wear visible on the back.

We package our LPs in a thick cardboard LP mailer. We ALWAYS take the LP out of the jacket to 
avoid any seam splitting that could occur in shipment. We put the LP and the jacket in an LP plastic sleeve. 
We float the LP between cardboard and 2 sheets of bubble wrap. We use shipping tape on all 
spines to protect the integrity of the box, and to insure the safety of the contents. 
All this is included in the low shipping price. We will clean your purchase on our 
VPI machine if and when necessary. This insures that you receive your item in the best possible condition.

 LP SHIPPING
We use the US Postal Service’s Media Mail for shipping in the U.S.
The buyer pays a shipping, packing (see above) and handling fee of $4.00 for the first
12"or LP and 50c for each additional item in the same package. 
This includes USPS delivery confirmation (US only), box & packing material.

 Shipping to other countries is by the United States Postal Service's First Class Mail International. 
The rates for overseas is $18.00 for the first item, with an added $5.00 for each additional album. 

Shipping to Canada is $14.00 for the first item, with an added $2.50 for each additional album.
