Description
Two super rare 1 sided Harvest test pressings from Dec 1970 Barclay James Harvest LP Once Again SHVL 788 their highest selling EMI album.
Forget about whether the labels have a boxed EMI logo or not! These items were pressed 11 days after recording finished at Abbey Road - before the labels or sleeves were ever printed. Dated 6 December 1970 they were made two months before the album was released in the UK. Naturally the matrix numbers are A1 / B1.
The discs have hand written track names on the labels. The plain outer sleeves have handwritten information including the February 71 release date. The discs are still very shiny and have only minimal spindle marks suggesting they were just used for review purposes. There are some surface marks but I would grade it as EX. The discs are in paper inners inside cardboard outer sleeves. The outer sleeves are yellowing and slightly grubby, which is not surprising considering they are well over 40 years old.
I will post outside Europe but shipping will cost more.
