Description
I grade conservatively and pack well. I use the LP mailer. The vinyl will be outside of the cover during shipping so as not to cause damage to the cover in transit. I use Goldmine grading standards and these records have all been visually graded and sometimes play-graded (where noted).
I am awaiting a new record cleaning system. Any record that I have played will have been cleaned by me before playing. I will not be doing any playgrades this time around as I do not have a cleaning system right now. I will note any extra dust/fingerprints...anything that can be easily fixed with a cleaning. I assume you have a cleaning system and can clean up any dust or minor issues.

ARTIST/ALBUM: Swervedriver, Mezcal Head. NOT the recent reissue.
LABEL: Creation, CRELP143, 1993, made in England.
VINYL Visual Grade under bright light: Mint. The only reason I selected NM/NM- under ebays input is due to two FACTORY chips on very out rim of LP. They are maybe a mm or 2 thick and 3/4 cm wide. If your needle gets that close to the outer edge when setting it down to play the record, the needle would fall off with or without the chips, due to the slope that is on the very edge of LP that slopes away from the record. In other words, you should only be concerned if you wanted to frame this record and not play it. even then you would have to look to find the two chips. WILL NOT EFFECT PLAY and your needle will be fine.
COVER: MINT!!! Including thick innersleeve. Might as well be sealed!
Grading scale:
SEALED: Just that. I will say if cover has any markings or ringwear, etc., but assume a sealed record will play AS NEW.
NM: Shiny. No visible defects. Nearly perfect. Clean label. Looks like it was just opened fresh from the record store when bought new. Plays as if bought new.
VG+/E (E being the high end, more like a NM-): As goldmine says, "except for a couple of minor things, this would be near mint". Light signs of wear, including light scuffs or scratches that do no affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the listening experience are also o.k. (this is straight from Goldmine). Minor signs of handling ok, such as marks around center hole, but not misshapen the hole from repeated playing. If playgrade, very occasional minor surface noise that does not effect play. No loud pops or hisses, to be sure. Again, "except for a few minor things..." Cover can have very minor seam wear or split (less than one inch) at the bottom. Possible defacing, like a cut-out marking.
VG: Lack most of original gloss. Groove wear can be seen. Light scratches deep enough to feel with fingernail. Surface noise and some scratches may be audible such as in soft parts. Noise will not overpower music. Small amount of writing, tape or sticker on label. Covers will have wear such as ringwear (not overwhelming, though). Seam splitting more obvious, such as on all three sides, but won't see it right away when looking for first time. Price tag or writing on cover or back.
G: I will not sell a G or less record unless it is very rare and I will do a full write-up on it, if so. I will sell G covers and I will explain why I give it a G per each auction
