Description

Fantastic copies of a fantastic compilation. Madcap Laughs LP is Cat.# SHVL 765, green label Harvest with 'boxed' EMI found on 2nd pressing. Matrix/runout is SHVL.765 A and B, with A-2G and B-3 as codes. Barrett LP is Cat.# SHSP 4007, green label Harvest and 'boxed' EMI found on 3rd pressing. Matrix/runout is SHSP 4007 A-1G and B-1G as codes. Vinyl on both is in fantastic shape (played 2-3 times max), looks like both were just unsealed instead of being from the '70's, with no scratches, scuff marks or blemishes after being kept in plastic-lined inner sleeves for many years. Gatefold jacket is NM and almost pristine (one very dull mark near bottom-right on front face). Sharp corners and full spine, still very glossy with no fading or discoloration evident. All in all, looks and feels exactly like it would if it was Mint and you just unwrapped it...however, it's NOT mint as I have had it for a long time, stored and played well, along w/ lots of other vinyl to keep it company. Since this is a compilation and not the "original" original issues, they won't command the price of those if/when one can find them, but both are great albums by a very influential musician, and both these copies issued together are in great form overall. Thanks for looking, and happy listening!
