Syd Barrett “The Madcap Laughs“ Harvest SHVL 765 Orig.1.UK Pressing 1970 in Stereo, Laminated Gatefold Sleeve. Original Harvest Inner Sleeve

First issue with "The Gramophone Co., Ltd." on the edge of label, and no small EMI logo on the label. Catalog number in upper right corner. Front Cover: Dull blue-green Harvest logo in lower left corner of front cover. Back Cover: In the lower right, it says "6911 TPS Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London SHVL 765."

    Condition: “Very Good Plus “. Die LP ist noch in  gutem Zustand. Es befinden zwei Oberflächenkratzer auf Seite A Track 1& 2. Die aber schlimmer aussehen, als sie sind und sich nicht sonderlich negativ auf die Klangqualität auswirken  und wenn überhaupt nur leise Knistergeräusche verursachen. Es sich auch einige feine Wischer auf der Platte. Wahrscheinlich sind die Meisten vom Herausziehen und Reinschieben ins Inner Sleeve . Leise Grundgeräusche in der Einlaufrille und an manchen ruhigen Stellen sich sind vermutlich eher auf die Pressung zurückzuführen. Die LP wurde mit Kopfhören geprüft, über Lautsprecher sind die leisen Grundgeräusche kaum noch wahrnehmbar. Das Label ist auf Seite 1 mit einem Schriftzug markiert.  Das Gatefold Cover ist noch gut erhalten. Nur an den Rändern und an der Einschubsite zeigt die Laminierung vereinzelt kleine Veränderungen. Auf der Rückseite beginnt sich ein “Record Ring“ leicht abzuzeichnen. Die Ecken sind etwas angestoßen. Die matte Innenseite des Klapp- Covers ist noch in gutem Zustand. Der Coverrücken ist noch  leserlich  und es sind auch keine Risse oder sonstige gröbere Schäden am Cover vorhanden (Siehe Fotos)

     

     

Condition: "Very Good Plus". The LP is still in pretty good condition. There are 2 surface scratches on side A track 1 & 2. They look worse than they are and have no particularly negative effect on the sound quality, if any cause only some softly crackling.Some fine surface “hairlines” on the record, probably the most by in and out sliding from the Inner sleeve. Quiet noise in the lead-in groove and on some silent parts are are probably due more to the pressing.The LP was tested with headphones, through loudspeakers the faint noise is barely perceptible. The label is marked on side A with a lettering. The gatefold cover is still in good condition. But on the edges and at the insertion site the lamination shows some small changes. On the backside a “record Ring” begins to emerge  . The mat  inside of the gatefold cover is still very well preserved . The spine is still legible and there are no cracks or other coarser damages on the cover.  (See Photos)
