Description
SYD BARRETT - THE MADCAP LAUGHS. GLOSS LAMINATED EJ DAY GATEFOLD SLEEVE. NO EMI BOX ON LABEL. STEREO.
UK PRESS ON THE HARVEST LABEL. CAT NO: SHVL 765. RELEASED 1970.
SIDE 1: Graded well into the Excellent (+) bracket. Just a few hairlines on the surface but no significant scratches, marks or blemishes other than one very light scratch across tracks 4,5,6 (none of these affect play at all). The label is very clean with a tight spindle and mild evidence of spidering. The whole side plays perfectly. The matrix number is SHVL 765 A-2G. Stampers are 1 and A.
SIDE 2: Graded at the top end of the Excellent (+) bracket. There are a few faint hairlines but no other scratches or blemishes (the hairlines do not affect play at all). The label is very clean with a very tight spindle and some mild spidering. The whole side plays perfectly. The matrix number is SHVL 765 B-2G. Stampers are 1 and A.
SLEEVE: The gloss laminated gatefold sleeve is graded as Excellent. There are no tears, splits or damage at all other than mild ring wear (on rear). There is mild corner wear (top and bottom spine) The spine is fully intact with no splits (other than two small cracks appearing top and bottom of the title) . The record is housed in a white paper inner.
