Description

This is an original three LP box set of J.S. Bach's "6 Sonatas & Partitas For Violin Alone" played by Joseph Szigeti. Cosmetic condition is shown in the photos of the actual item. This set is from the collection of a professional violinist The records are in "VG+" condition. The surfaces still have decent sheen, with light marks from handling and and having been played. On side one, track two ("Sonata No. 1 In G Minor Fugue") at about 2:30 in there is small ding that ticks for four revolutions. I spot checked all six sides. These records play with an occasional light tick and a little wear in some areas. Recorded: 17-18 October 1955 (Sonatas); July 1955 (Partita No. 1); 18 & 20 October 1955 (Partita No. 2); 2 March 1956 (Partita No.3), CBS Recording Studios, 30th Street, New York.
