Description
A 1st pressing of Electric Warrior on the UK Fly label released on the 24th September 1971 Matrix A2/B2. Stampers 2-1 or 1-2 [both sides]. Etchings 'Pecko Duck'. Complete with original poster and front cover sticker.
The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original E.J.Day Group cover with 1st issue pinched spine. Also included as said the original inner sleeve front cover sticker and the original promotional poster. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Audio sonically sounds absolutely astonishing, clearly has only seen the lightest of use. Under inspection you can detect a light mark across side 1 but this has no effect on the audio quality of this record infact you would struggle to find any noticeable crackle. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Side 2 looks near perfect, not a blemish on the vinyl in sight, this would absolutely be a near perfect copy but for the light mark on side1. Certainly would find it hard to find a copy that sounds quite as good as this. I'm tempted to call it faultless because it is that good. I don't think I can remember any major crackle the entire way through....difficult to part with this one. Absolutely excellent labels, limited spindle ware, as clean as you could hope for.
Cover (Vg+) In nice shape and still has it's original T REX sticker on the front cover. Warrior is ONE of those covers which are almost impossible to find in Ex condition due to the way they were manufactured, as is so often the case, is exhibiting a bit of handling/surface wear. This copy though still looks in great shape as this one has been keeped in a protective plastic sleeve and still retains relatively most of it's original mat black finish and looks pretty good. Edge wear is reasonably light and overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No markings or splits - just a touch of light ageing.
Poster (Ex+) Immaculate. Hardly any ageing at all, never been pinned to a wall so no pin holes or evidence of blue tac used.
The LP will come housed in exstatic sleeve.
Packing:
As with all vinyl records will be sent in professional cardboard stiffened inserts and packaging.
