Original 1972 Canada press of LP on Polydor label
TAPESTRY titled " Down By Maple River"
CONDITION:
gatefold cover: Excellent+ / Mint-
clean & crisp with just tiny unobtrusive bb lower left ~ see pix
vinyl: VG++
clean & glossy ~ several lite paper sleeve scuffs & some noticeable inner sleeve / press stains
a couple of small lite superficial marks / small faint hairlines & needlemarks ~ superficial only
plays excellent with several odd occasional quick lite clicks & just a touch of
odd occasional lite surface crackle in several spots
noticeable mostly between tracks, but very litely in several quieter spots of play, too )
rare & excellent Canada rural folk psych / rock compared by some to Riverson or Huckle
( & recommended by some to fans of Shadrack Chameleon, Modlin & Scott etc.
with one of the Side 2 tracks compared to Trees or Mandy Morton)
recorded at Quebec Sound Studios in Montreal , Quebec ( all vocals in English)

if it's helpful, here's a couple of reviews i've gleaned :
Male and female vocals by Jack & Heather Winters, a bit rural pop in spots but every bit as juicy as Huckle,
with some nice guitar bits ~ not quite the fantastic ringing guitar of Riverson but every bit as unique and quite outastanding still the same.
excellent rural rock with a westcoast sound, similar to After The Goldrush-era Neil Young.
duo writes good songs and are given strong support by a pro studio band, including some tentative country-rock moves..
.. better than most high-ticket private pressings in the style, recommended to fans of Shadrack Chameleon, Modlin & Scott etc.
There's also a very good femme vox folkrocker on side 2 a la Trees or Mandy Morton.
