High gloss vinyl is extremely clean with very few faint sleeve mark hairlines. LP plays Like New throughout. Labels are immaculate both sides.

Some shelf-wear only to crisp, clean gatefold cover. No creases, writing or soil. Inside gatefold is pristine. Seams and flat, smooth spine are 100% intact with no wear or splits. All edges straight, all corners sharp.

Recorded November 26-28, 1973 at Producer's Workshop and The Mastering Lab, Los Angeles.

This LP, with MATRIX #s: SL 5 - 6S (Side 1) // SL 6 - 6S (Side 2)
is the coveted "Take 6" performance and master cut.

Sheffield Lab states:
"TAKE 6 - SHEFFIELD LAB DIRECT TO DISC RECORDINGS are limited editions by the fact that only a finite quantity of pressings can be obtained from a single lacquer master. In order to achieve sufficient pressings to clear our initial expenses, we obtain more than one performance of each side. Two performances of Lab 1 are presently available,  Take 5 and Take 6.  Only our best takes from the standpoint of performance and engineering are ever released.  While these versions are deemed equal, their highlights often occur in different places."

A very Limited number of the LPs were pressed since no tape recorder was ever used. As a result, the master can make only a few flawless mother discs and each mother can press a very limited number of LPs before the slightest noticeable imperfections close out the pressing under Sheffield's incredibly high recording/mastering/cutting/plating/pressing standards.

The drastic difference between the Sheffield Lab recordings and “regular” records is truly amazing -when listened to on superior Audio Equipment, the effect is simply stunning ...what I usually listen to when I need the “High End Experience”.
