THE TEE-VEES: DOCTOR HEADLOVE / WAR MACHINE GOOD VIBRATIONS RECORDS / PINK MUSIC GOT-11 UK 1980 7" Rare and great mod ska punk gem from 1980 on legendary Good Vibrations label - same band as The Jets 'Original Terminal' on Good Vibrations from 1979 (see great '45 Revolutions' book by Mario Panciera for full history on band and releases) - tracks in both sides are very different as 'Doctor Headlove' is a rather ska/mod dance track while 'War Machine' is very punk - track also included in the 1979 7" compilation The Voxhall Tracks (on Pink Records as well) with punk bands from Luton - most copies of the Tee-Vees single is seen in plain sleeve with a sticker but this one comes complete with the super scarce fold-over picture sleeve which was very limited

Rare and great mod ska punk gem from 1980 on legendary Good Vibrations label (although band is from Luton and not Irish) - same band as The Jets 'Original Terminal' on Good Vibrations from 1979 (see great '45 Revolutions' book by Mario Panciera for full history on band and releases) - tracks in both sides are very different as 'Doctor Headlove' is a rather ska/mod dance track while 'War Machine' is very punk - track also included in the 1979 7" compilation The Voxhall Tracks (on Pink Records as well) with punk bands from Luton - most copies of the Tee-Vees single is seen in plain sleeve with a sticker but this one comes complete with the super scarce fold-over picture sleeve which was very limited and with a few copies only (over the stickered inner sleeve). Really hard to get.
A great punk and new wave collectable and all in very nice condition.
