Description
This is an original 1st pressing of TERRY NOLAND's Rockabilly album on the BRUNSWICK Record label. The album features BUDDY HOLLY on guitar on several tracks. This is a YELLOW LABEL PROMOTIONAL album! Record Number BL-54041. The heavy-duty record jacket is in beautiful shape and grades at NEAR-MINT 8 which includes the seams and spine. The lettering on the spine and (in this case) the top seam is clear and undisturbed. A radio station's name and a date is stamped on the back. NO TAPE AND NO TOUCH-UP of any kind! The record itself is machine stamped in the matrix vinyl next to the labels guaranteeing authenticity!!. The labels are DEEP GROOVE LABELS and the record vinyl is thick and non-flexible. Exactly resembles Buddy Holly's first pressing of his solo album on Decca. The vinyl is shiny and glossy but there are some very light paper scuffs that show up under a bright light. Still, you primarily see clean, glistening vinyl. The sound quality is amazingly clear with extremely minor surface noise. I mean, this baby is a beautiful Sounding album, folks. I've recorded some of the songs onto cassette tape and it sounds just SO clean. This is a RARE album and it will be a real treat to any Rockabilly or Buddy Holly fan! You won't be disappointed!
