Here I have for sale the British gatefold 1st release of the film soundtrack to 'That'll Be The Day' (1973), starring David Essex, Ringo Starr and Billy Fury. The movie was directed by Claude Whatham and is the prequel to the 1974 film 'Stardust'.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyls – VG-EX. Both records are wonderfully clean on visual inspection. No obvious scuffs/marks. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Record 1 sounds superb though there are some known limitations with this pressing. On Record 2 there is some surface noise and static in places between cues. Overall, great.
Outer Sleeve (Cover) – VG. Colours remain vibrant and unfaded. A few creases towards right of front and some creasing in from top edge. Very light disc outline. Some mild corner wear and damage. Aperture shows more obvious wear. Reverse is generally clean with light disc outline and minor creasing on left. Inner gate is clean and undamaged. Aperture wear more visible from here.
Inner Sleeves – VG. Off-white paper, one with angled corners; the other with squared and a label window. Minor creasing but clean and intact.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
