This is NOT a bootleg / counterfeit / repress but
the mega rare original pressing -
a genuine piece of counter culture history.
"As essential a piece of '60s counterculture as you're ever going to find on vinyl", as stated in the Acid Archives book by author Patrick Lundborg.
Rarely turns up for sale on Ebay this is as much a piece of history from the psychedelic era as it is
known for its "live on LSD" content.
Considering it's age and limited run it is hard to find in a genuinely collectable condition. Very reluctant to let this one go.....
Front Cover: Very clean - zero ringwear - paste on slick. All seams intact no splits
Back Cover: Totally blank with no paste on or text but subsequently shows the slightest hint of ringwear and some age discolouration.
Vinyl: Both side A and B are very clean with little / no evidence of spindle marks. There are some superficial marks which did not affect play on my Linn LP12. Written in the trail off is ? 9009 - X
Label: Reads: "A Sound City Production, 363 6th Street, San Francisco, California. Label No is: 2 - 7690 EX. As photographed and shown in LOOK magazine. Recorded from 14 hours of the actual trip.
