TITLE: “MUSIC FROM BIG PINK”
PRESSING: 1969 “Very Early” Second Pressing STEREO LP of The Band’s debut album!
CATALOG #: CAPITOL SKAO 2955
LABELS: Super clean “Lime Green” labels with purple CAPITOL “target” at top.
Comments: Extremely SCARCE LP to locate in pristine condition.

COVER: VG++
Comments: Very clean “pastedown” gatefold cover displays bright vivid colors with ever so light surface/ring wear (see photograph). There are No seam splits, No cut out marks, and No discount holes or bar codes on this “original” cover.
VINYL: NrMT
Comments: Full original gloss “Thick” vinyl with only a few minor rubs and insignificant faint hairlines (No scratches) seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. The vinyl plays beautifully throughout the recording!
INNER SLEEVE: Original and the correct “generic” white inner sleeve used by Capitol during the release of this LP.
Comments: True early second pressing “thick” vinyl copies are extremely difficult to locate in such wonderful condition! LP features “The Weight” and several songs written or co-written by Bob Dylan, including the cover art.
I am very conservative with my grading. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle. All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.

NrMT Slight corner/edge wear, hint of ring wear
NrMT- Very light corner/edge wear, faint ring wear
VG+ Light overall corner/surface wear, light ring wear
VG Moderate shelf wear, light to moderate ring wear
VINYL
MINT Absolutely no marks on the vinyl surface, rarely used grade
NrMT+ Very faint rub or two with no surface marks
NrMT No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few extremely faint, inaudible hairlines or a paper scuff seen only under very bright light
NrMT- No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few light, inaudible hairlines seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve
VG+ No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines and/or paper scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording
VG May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips – several hairlines and needle trails will be present which do not affect overall playprice rating
