Lovely copy of the original 1966 first pressing of the Beach Boys’ classic of classics, Pet Sounds, on Capitol
Duophonic LP DT-2458. Still in the original shrinkwrap and in exceptionally nice condition. The disc has a little bit of light superficial scuffing but really not much and it is all entirely superficial, as I say, and does not affect the play at all. Really it plays almost flawlessly and just gorgeously. The cover has some slight discoloration at the bottom right, perhaps from some light water damage. It is not that bad at all and there is no real damage to the cover image or information on either side. The lower right edge is split about 2.5”. Slight wear at the open edge as well, but only very slight. Otherwise the cover is just beautifully near pristine. Truly a beautiful original copy, very hard to beat.
