Description
A stunning copy of The Beatles - 1962-1966. A UK 1st Press on the Apple Label, the matrix numbers are;
Side One YEX 905-1 Side Two YEX 906-1 Side Three YEX 907-2 Side Four YEX 908-1
We have cleaned all four records in our amazing Degritter ultrasonic cleaner and the vinyl has come up with a wonderful sheen, spotless & glossy with hardly any marks visible - see photos - just a few teeny scuffs and tiny hairlines, but nothing that affects playback.
We have played all four sides to test on our hi-fi system which is very revealing. All records play beautifully with truly astonishing clarity and sound quality, so vibrant, you would never believe the age! Huge, crisp clean sound with a low noise floor. A fabulous dynamic range which leaves modern reissues for dust - don't bother! This is Abbey Road world class mastering at its best. There are no issues whatsoever - no jumping, sticking or pops, just hit after hit of wonderful music.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in outstanding condition. Barely any wear even to corners and edges, very clean with no stains or tears. No splits. Inside there are a few tiny X's in pen against a few titles but otherwise no writing.
The original printed inner lyric sleeves are similarly immaculate with the cropped corners of first press editions. Slight wear to the bottom seams but otherwise in crisp clean condition. We have popped both records into new poly lined anti static sleeves to keep them pristine after cleaning - you will receive both the original & new inner sleeves.
