The Beatles - 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP. PCS 7027

The Beatles 1967 UK 1st STEREO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album. Released on the 1st June 1967, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE with stereo factory sample vinyl, gatefold stereo sleeve, cutout insert and psychedelic red and white inner sleeve. It is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT condition.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd.' rim print. The ‘KT’ tax code is embossed on the side one label. The vinyl comes housed within the original 'psychedelic flame' inner sleeve and also has the cutout sheet included. The stereo vinyl comes complete with the correct STEREO ONLY sleeve. A superb factory sample example of this much sought after groundbreaking album.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. YEX 637-1 2 T

Side 2. YEX 638-1 1 A

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition. Perfect.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

The inner sleeve is in GOOD condition. Seam splits and creased. I will include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.

The insert is in EXCELLENT+ condition. Unused.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
