Description
The Beatles - 'Abbey Road'. PCS 7088
The Beatles 1969 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Abbey Road' album. Released on the 26th September 1969, it is offered here fully complete and in solid VERY GOOD++/EXCELLENT- condition.
Released on the dark Apple Records label, both the vinyl label and cover omit the track 'Her Majesty'. The vinyl has earliest matrix numbers for this release - YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1. It comes fully complete with the original black die cut inner sleeve and laminated cover.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 749-2 5 GAD
Side 2. YEX 750-1 1 A
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD++ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition. FACTORY SAMPLE TEXT IS MUCH, MUCH MORE RED IN COLOUR THAN THE PICTURE SHOWS. APPEARS LIGHTER DUE TO THE CAMERA FLASH.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
The inner sleeve is in GOOD+ condition. SLEEVE IS JET BLACK AND NOT GREY AS IT SEAMS IN THE PICTURE. APPEARS LIGHTER DUE TO THE CAMERA FLASH. Would grade much higher but for a lot of creasing to the top edge (see picture). I will also include a new inner to protect the original.
This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.50. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
