Hello there! Many thanks for perousing my items! When you've looked here, you might like to check out some of my other items, I have some other very rare Beatles etc. items currently listed with many more to come, heck, I'd even suggest you add me to your favourite sellers to keep on top of all the goodies that I'm going to list over the coming months!
I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers. I will only post completely insured and tracked.
This week I'm selling most of the Beatles Christmas FanClub Flexi Discs in various conditions, but all sought after! Here we have the very rare UK xmas flexi disc from 1964, this was the 2nd one, and the only one to run at 45 RPM (all of the others ran at 33 1/3RPM) entitled "ANOTHER BEATLES CHRISTMAS RECORD". It involves Christmas messages and high jinx between the guys, along with a few christmas Carols being sung etc, and it really is a heart-warming insight into the fun that four friends were having as they adjusted to unprecedented superstardom! Really is a lovely slice of Beatle life that you don't get as much from their more conventional record! These messages were reocrded during the "What You're Doing"/ "Honey Don't" sessions for the following "Help!" album.
All of the Beatles UK Fan Club Christmas Flexi Discs are highly sought after, and when they include the sleeve, and even more so the insert/ FanClub newsletter insert, then these become very sought after indeed!
RECORD CONDITION: EX, very little to detract from this at all, really nice and crisp, with just a few surface hairline withdrawl marks which don't affect play. Whilst audio on LYNTONE Flexi Discs was never perfect, this has really lovely audio throughout!
RECORD LABELS: EX, Beautiful! This label is clean and crisp, apart from the tiniest (less than 1mm square) dot at about 7 o'clock highlighted in the photos, it is completely without wear/stains/graffiti etc. Really lovely. SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+, The only detraction from this sleeve is a common one with these sleeves and occurred in their manufacture, many had an excess of adhesive gluing the flip-back tabs onto the back, and so a brown stain occurs, on this copy it shows on the top edge of the front aswell, also not uncommon. Otherwise a really nice sleeve. INSERT: EX, the all important insert, the bit that's usually missing! Well here it looks like it might have been read once, and then returned to it's sleeve and forgotten about! It's in really great condition, with no marks/tears/stains or nicks, just a very light careful handling is all that shows, really superb!
These records were only pressed on one side, and this runs at 33 1/3 RPM
