Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Collection of Oldies' 1967 stereo vinyl LP!

Condition:

Vinyl (visual): 

Side 1 - the visual condition of the record is great apart from a feelable scratch across tracks 6 and 7 (play-tested below!). Elsewhere, it has a nice gloss and shine and would probably easily grade VG+, but I'll have to grade it as GOOD+, due to  the scratch. Label is VERY GOOD+.

Side 2 - this side has a nice gloss and shine with a clean label and the odd hairline marks and scratches but nothing feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+.


Audio: I have play-tested the record in it's entirety. I can happily say that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS AND NO STICKS! The scratches mentioned above do not cause any issues on my system!

There is some crackle on the run-ins and some repetitive pops for the start of Side 2 that continues throughout the first track - could clean out. The loud punchy stereo audio is crisp and the light crackle never interferes with the music and all instruments can be heard. A good amount of clarity on this stereo pressing! I'd grade it as VERY GOOD+.


Inner Sleeve: The original EMI advertising inner sleeve has a 3" split to one side and has some discolouration but free from writing and is fairly clean.


Sleeve: The original 1967 stereo flipback sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD. The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine but it does have some laminate creasing and light ringwear. The rear of the sleeve has some discolouration in places and some small writing to the upper left corner. The spine is fully readable with some creasing but there are no splits to any seams.
