 ORIGINAL UK Pressing from June 1964. 1st type Chubby text labels which only lasted a short time until the change to narrow text 1st pressings.  Rarer earlier MT tax code is embossed on Side 2 whereas most will be found with the KT tax code. An overall superb example of this 53 year old 1st pressing Beatles LP that are usually found in a much played condition.

The Sleeve: In  Excellent Minus condition.    All text legible and pictorials clear and glossy and has held original colours well. The front and rear panels are smooth, glossy and clean with clear print and unblemished front laminated pictorial. Very clean and neat, the length of the spine and top and bottom edges have no fraying, and all original title and catalogue number text is legible. The sleeve is firm and flat.

 There are no rips or splits anywhere. All edges are free of any storage wear and there is no prominent record ring wear. The sleeve is sturdy, firm and clean. No handwriting or marks. Small 'tip-end' type storage marks to the laminate down the opening side. Flip-back fold-over's are all intact with no laminate loss or major creases.

Inner Sleeve: Excellent  condition original 'EMITEX' tracing paper interior inner sleeve.... Intact at all seams, clean, no marks. Correctly has the 'Made In England' text but not the 'Patents Pending' as the patent had been granted.

The Vinyl: The vinyl surfaces are Excellent Minus. Both sides have no feelable or deep scratches, and no surface marks. Under strong halogen spot-light there are visble ultra-feint fine surface lines that sweep evenly spread over the surfaces, conversing at the outer rims, clearly a result of being removed in and out of the sleeve or from cleaning, not obtrusive to the audio, and only seen under light strong enough to reflect such. No stylus hairline marks or scratches, no scuffs, no warps, no groove wear. Overall very clean condition and appears as a completely fresh glossy surface all over, Excellent unblemished shine in normal house lighting.. The record is certainly in well over average and respectable condition, having received moderate and careful plays, and not trashed-out or over used as so many have.

Thick heavyweight solid robust early 1960's vinyl which lays completely flat on the turntable.

Labels: Excellent and very neat. All text is clear and bright backgound, the perimeter area around the spindle location is neat with a little wear to the perimeter of the spindle location, and just a couple of small spindle line traces visible under stong halogen light. Bright yellow PARLOPHONE.

The Audio: The audio grades at Excellent. The LP plays throughout clearly on both sides, with no pops, no background noises such as crackle or hiss, and there are no skips/jumps or sticks. There are a few light audible static type ticks, but only where to be expected the  dead-wax grooves preceding and succeeding a few of the songs and a couple of quiet interludes during a couple of songs, but only really noticeable on those near the start and end of each side. Plays through very clearly and on the whole without surface noise audible over any audio, even the vast majority of quiet interludes have no surface noise. The Mono bass is perfect with no feedback or hiss, and the vocals are crisp and clear, and instrumentals lucid.

This LP will be securely delivered in a professional cardboard mailer.

New plain generic poly-lined inner sleeve will house the record, and the original will be placed separately.

A new protective gatefold PVC 180 gsm gatefold sleeve is included as shown to house the LP.

This LP will be delivered by recorded delivery in the UK.

Overseas postage will be tracked all the way and a tracking number given.
