Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Days Night' 1964 first press MONO vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the very first MONO pressing released in the UK in 1964. It features the very first 'chubby' style font used on A Hard Days Night. It was soon changed to the more common Sans Serif font. VERY RARE, DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are a decent amount of light scratches and hairline marks on the record...none that I can feel however! Still retains a nice gloss and shine but please note it does have a decent amount of light, non-feelable scratches. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD. Side 2 - same as Side 1! These early 60s mono records hold up really well!
Audio: I HAVE PLAY TESTED THE FIRST TWO TRACKS ON EITHER SIDE ONLY!!! This means 4 tracks in total. Slight crackle on the run-in but nothing intrusive. I cannot believe how well this record plays! Considering its visual grading is VG, it plays closer to EXCELLENT! On those 4 tracks I played, no skips, no sticks and no jumps! A great player, a great listen - do not miss out!
Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD- condition! It has a seam split along the bottom edge - approximately 2.5" long. Elsewhere, it has some light creasing and discolouration.
Sleeve: The original 1964 MONO flipback sleeve is currently rated as a strong VERY GOOD! The front of the sleeve has a nice gloss and shine. It does have some very light ringwear and some discolouration in the whiter parts. The opening edge has some wear but the edges are all intact and free from splits. The rear of the sleeve has some discolouration but free from writing and graffiti! The flipbacks are held down tightly with little wear. The spine is 100% readable and clean with no splits! There is some creasing towards the edges but nothing serious! Overall, a great vintage sleeve that looks good and houses the record superbly!
