Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Day's Night' 1966 mono vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD- condition.
This particular pressing features the lesser common and much rarer Times New Roman font on both labels! Hardly shows up on eBay and is considered a very collectible record!
This vinyl was pressed on the EMI old machines press. IT’S NOT CBS PRESSING as many people think! THIS IS EMI PRESSING! To date, only three Beatles albums have been found in this variation and they are A Hard Day’s Night, Rubber Soul and Revolver. DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are quite a few hairlines and light scratches. None that I can feel however. Looks well-enjoyed but is holding up very well! Currently rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more longer, non-feelable hairline marks and scratches.
Audio: PLEASE NOTE: I have only listened to Side 1 track 1 and Side 2 track 1 ONLY!! Both tracks rate as VERY GOOD+. There was a little crackle on the run-in but nothing too intrusive or loud. Both tracks played clearly and sounded VERY punchy! Classic 60s mono sound! Audio was quite clear with some light background crackle - a deep clean would help with this but it's really not an issue!
Sleeve: The original mono flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD- condition. Unfortunately, there is a split along the bottom edge, approximately 3" long. The record is still housed very well and looks great! The front of the sleeve does have some light wear towards the opening edge and some laminate creasing in places. Still has a nice gloss though! The rear of the sleeve is free from writing and has some light staining and age-related discolouration in places. All flipbacks are intact but do have some light creasing. The spine is 100% readable with a few small creases and light discolouration - nothing major! Overall, a decent sleeve that houses the record well. Would grade higher if it wasn't for the split along the bottom.

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a rare Beatles record that everyone should own!
