Description

Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Day's Night 12" 1965/66 RARE TNR FONT LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition. 
This particular pressing features the RARE TNR font on both labels! It rarely shows up for sale and is a collectible piece!


VINYL:-
Visual:

  • Side 1 - plenty of light hairlines and sleeve removal trails - nothing serious that I can feel though! Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+ (slight spindlewear however).
  • Side 2 - same as Side 1 but with a few more hairlines.

Audio:
  • In my eyes, the audio is VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! Background crackle is present throughout but never really gets in the way of the music. A few light ticks here and there but nothing major or overbearing! Please bare this in mind though. Very loud and punchy! A deep clean is probably needed but unfortunately I do not have the facilities to do so. Lies flat and plays very well! An enjoyable listen! 




The original mono flipback sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD+(just!). The front has several laminate creases and slight corner rubbing. The rear of the sleeve has no graffiti or writing but it is slightly discoloured. Very slight ringwear on the back and slight wear to the opening edge. Flipbacks remain nice and tight though! Spine is 100% readable with the usual wear and slight creasing. The only major standout issue is the damage to the top flipback along the top spine. Please see pictures!! It is just the peeling of the flipback - it is not actually split!

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a great 1965/66 MONO copy of A Hard Day's night, with the rare TNR font label that is getting increasingly difficult to find!
