Description
PLAY TESTED. ABSOLUTELY NO SKIPS, JUMPS OR STICKING. VG+ AUDIO. LOW START PRICE.
1 MOTHER TO SIDE 2.
"A Hard Day's Night" in its original mono version, with a first pressing and Emitex inner sleeve included, variant B. The vinyl matrix number are XEX 481 3N & 482 3N, and the catalogue number is PMC 1230.
The record is in very good (VG) condition, with VG+ audio. The record label is Parlophone, with black label with yellow logo and silver print. ‘Parlo’ perimeter print, ‘Rec first published’ and ‘Sold in U.K.’ text. Embossed KT tax code to side 2.
VARIANT B.
The title ‘Songs from the film’ etc, doesn’t take up as much width as variant A, and also has smaller text than Var A ‘chubby’ text.
AUDIO. VG+
No skips, jumps or sticking, with occasional surface noise and light crackle, largely confined to in between tracks. Overall, VG+ audio.
VINYL APPEARANCE. VG
Despite one feelable mark to side 1, this doesn’t interrupt the audio, and doesn’t cause any skips or jumps. There are other marks/hairlines/signs of handling to both sides, but it certainly plays with a higher grade than the appearance.
SLEEVE. (G&L flip-back). VG.
Some creasing, obvious signs of ware to front panel, though no lifting of the laminate.
The rear panel is decently clean, other than the bottom right corner. Some creasing to the flip-backs. No graffiti.
The spine again is decently clean, easily legible, with one crease to the text.
EMITEX INNER. G.
The original tracing-paper lined Emitex inner has a large seam split, and a tare to the window. Also has some creasing and feathering. Then again, it is 60yrs old.

IN CONCLUSION.
A very playable copy of this first press Mino album, with no skips or jumps, and though certainly far from mint, a valuable addition to any collection, with audio graded higher than the overall appearance. Also with an original Emitex inner, and 1 Mother to side 2. Low £4.99 start price.
