The vinyl is in Very Good condition. Visually the surfaces do have some scuffs / signs of wear and there's also the odd scratch too which I've tried to photograph. The audio playback also reflects this with luckily no jumps, just some small crackle and some ticks /pops when playing over the scratches. Luckily this album is cut very hot and loud so the surface noise is easily minimized and if you sum your cartridge to mono, the noise only gets quieter. It's not perfect but overall it's very nice and every track sounds awesome!
Please note that my camera does not pick up the record surfaces as well as I'd like them to. There is apparent wear but I think judging from playback, a lot of it is superficial and there's definitely worse out there.
The original Ernest J. Day flipback cover is in Very Good / Very Good + condition. It's the second type of E. J. Day cover, the first being the flimsier paper-flap flipbacks. This one is holding together quite nice and looking the same! There's some nitpicks on the front and especially on one of the corners, spots of wear on the laminate, a couple of thumbnail marks and the faintest signs of yellowing. The spine is lovely and readable and the opening has some small signs of wear but it's in nice shape too! The only other notable thing is what seems to be a circular stain from a mug on the back panel
Comes with the original Pre-1966 Emitex inner sleeve and it's in a great condition. Only some small signs of yellowing on it.
Overall this is a nice but not perfect example of this Beatles classic! While there's definitely better out there, this one is no slouch and I think it would be a nice addition to any Beatles collection.
