THE BEATLES A TO Z LOT. WIN 26 FAB-ULOUS 45s: RARETIES, 72000s, VJ, TOLLIE, SWAN
Welcome to one of our most popular theme auctions: The Beatles A to Z. It’s a great way to start your collection or add to one, because it’s got a bit of everything.
The Beatles covered most of the alphabet in their singles titles, but when a letter’s missing, we go to their solos or double up on a letter. So you still get 26 super 45s.
Like in this package, which has:
All My Loving—From the RARE Canada 72000 Series
Band on the Run—Paul’s sweet suite
Can’t Buy Me Love—Backed with “You Can’t Do That”
Do You Want to Know a Secret—George’s wonderful early lead vocal on VJ
Eleanor Rigby—Double A side with “Yellow Submarine”
From Me to You—Vee Jay 581, with “Please Please Me”
Get Back—Their first Apple single
Hey Jude—Paul’s 7:11 classic concert closer
I Want to Hold Your Hand—A rare mint-condition Apple reissue
Junior’s Farm—Another Paul solo gem
Kansas City—One of only six Star Line releases
Love Me Do—The one we all know, on the Tollie label
My Sweet Lord—George at his solo best
No No Song—Ringo at his coolest
Oh My My—Ringo also at his coolest
Paperback Writer—Dear sir or madam…
Ain’t She Sweet—The very early John vocal on Atco
Roll Over Beethoven—Another from the 72000 Series
She Loves You—On Swan, with “Mastering Reco-Art Phila. and 1/8” S-4152I/S” stamping. Comes with its own 45rpm adapter—and near-mint sound!
Twist and Shout—John’s throat couldn’t take another take
Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey—Paul having lots of solo fun
Whatever Gets You Thru the Night—Along with another John--Elton
Woman—From John with love
Bangla Desh—George started the whole charity concert thing
Yesterday—Working title: “Scrambled Eggs”
Hello Goodbye—There’s no “Z,” so this seemed appropriate
Space (and your time) will not permit specific descriptions of each record. However, be assured that all 52 sides were play-tested with no skips. Some actually sound like you just brought them home from the record store. But bear in mind—these discs are more than a half-century old, and depending on your equipment, there may be various degrees of surface noise (see Disclaimer below). The labels, on average, exhibit normal wear for their age—most of them better (see photos).
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
PLEASE NOTE: All net proceeds from this sale will be placed in a Special Needs Trust Fund for my son, who suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of being hit by a motor vehicle. Your bid is appreciated. However, it is not a charity and there are no tax benefits.
This item will be packed securely, and once payment is transferred from eBay, will be shipped to USA only! Payment must be submitted within 3 days of closing, or buyer forfeits all rights to purchase.
DISCLAIMER: Beatles records are fragile and more than a half-century old. Each side has been inspected, dusted and play-tested once on a newer Sony turntable used only for that purpose. They are being described here in complete, honest and accurate detail, and are sold “as is.” I don’t use letter ratings—one person’s VG+ is another person’s G-. I cannot, therefore, be responsible for different results due to the buyer’s own equipment. Your satisfaction, along with my 100% Feedback, are very important.
