THE BEATLES ABBEY ROAD 1969 UK 1ST PRESS PCS 7088 MISALIGNED APPLE
Dark green label with an image of an apple on side 1 and sliced apple on side 2. First label variation have “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3” text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p). The label does not have Her Majesty credit on the side 2.
The original laminated cover, without flaps, was quickly withdrawn due to the green Apple logo out of alignment with the text, and shifted to the left. Original Inner Sleeve with "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" printed lower right
PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WHICH DELIVERS TREMENDOUS SOUND QUALITY - EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE CUT WITH A DEEP, RICH AND WARM SOUND - BEAUTIFULLY RECORDED
Bought new for me in 1969 by my parents. I always was and still am a big Beatles fan and was 14 years old when this was released. It was always very special and I have treasured it and always looked after it Also wrote the name of the disc and artist on the sleeve to ensure they always went back into correct original sleeve ( see pics)
The outer cover has a couple of small creases in the lamination but otherwise is in excellent condition (see pics)
Disk is Bright and Shiny with light hairlines and clean labels. There is a very small feelable scratch on the very start to "Because" that causes just a few clicks. Disk plays well without skipping or jumping and with just a little noise between tracks and quiet parts. Still sounds GOOD.
Using GOLDMINE GRADING* - I would Grade the Vinyl as VERY GOOD, especially considering it nearly 55 years old. The inner record sleeve has slight wear due to age ( see pics)
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple symbol MISALIGNED beneath the rear panel track listing.

All runouts are stamped.
*Goldmine Grading - VERY GOOD - The item’s defects will be more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Wear will start to be noticeable, such as with light scratches on vinyl (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
