Description
I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.
All singles come with the sleeves they're pictured with, I don't use repros,so if it's with what looks like an original sleeve, it is an original sleeve!
Here we have one of the rarer and yet very Beatles involved Apple singles! The famous Black Dyke Mills Band, were,and probably still are considered the creme-de-la-creme of brass bands, and so when Paul McCartney wrote a piece (Thingumybob) with a brass band in mind,who else would he ask but the best of the best?! Not only does it feature the greatest Brass Band of it's day, but it also features 2 Lennon-McCartney compositions, one of which is unavailable anywhere else! It's also number 4 on the APPLE catalogue (one of their "First Four"), and to top it all off, both sides are produced by Paul McCartney himself! Record Condition: EX+ really beautiful, even under the scrutiny of strong direct light in an otherwise darkened room, just a few of the most featherlight withdrawal lines visible in these circumstances, really incredible! Labels Condition: EX The A-side labels are a perfect EX+ with just 2 very light, and very small spindle trails only visible when angled into strong direct light. Wonderful! The B-side is EX- generally pretty much as beautiful as the A-side, but for a still faint, but ever so slightly more visible spindle trail a darker rub mark at about 8 o'clock, and a small abbrasion just above the cut apple at about 11 o'clock. A really beautiful record! Features the rare KJT central tax code on the B-side.
