Description

Many thanks for your interest in my records! I've collected records for over 30 years and as such sometimes take stock and realise how many duplicates I have accrued, and how many records I no longer listen to. I grade using the RRPG Record Collector grading system, though feel that I grade down if anything, please check my feedback for proof of this! I have sold many records (some incredibly rare ones in the 4 figures) over the years, so please rest assured that my gradings have been satisfactory so far! Though, If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before leaving negative feedback. I haven't had negative feedback so far, and don't intend to start now if I can at all help it!
I'll combine records for the same price for up to 3 disks (double LPs count as 2!), and at as reduced a rate as I can beyond that! International bidders please ask, as I'll send them as cheaply as possible for you,but they must be sent tracked and insured.
THE BEATLES Abbey Road VERY RARE MISSING HYPHEN! LennonMcCartney 1st 1969 UK PCS 7088
Here we have an incredibly rare variation, that apprears to have slipped through most collectors' observations unti very recently, this variation is even not documented in Bruce Spizer's essential Beatles Collecting book "Beatles For Sale On Parlophone Records", which was pretty incredibly in depth with its research, in short, this is a very, very rare variation!
This, like with the more common variation differences of this LP, has to do with the side 2 label. Most collectors know that that first pressings didn't credit the final track "Her Majesty",whilst the 2nd pressings did, however, this variation, whilst also being a 1st label that doesn't credit "Her Majesty", it also makes an almost unheard of error for the songwriting credits for the track "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window",whilst all of the Lennon and McCartney tracks on the LP should be credited "Lennon-McCartney",and on every other copy of this record they are, this incredibly rare variation credits that track as ""LennonMcCartney" all as one word, missing the hyphen. Only a couple of these have ever come up for sale, what is known is that this record is extremely rare, however collectors are still not quite sure how extremely rare this variation is!
Record Condition: VG- A decent record, with a general dusting of surface hairlines and a few marks, most notably one that is very slightlyfeelable when you carefully and gently run your fingernail over it, it does cause somticks at the beginning of side 2, however, that is the only feelable mark, all of the others are cosmetic. The audio apart from the ticks at the beginning of side 2 already mentioned plays well, with just a little vinyl presence/static mainly audible during the quietest moments. A decent playing copy of a very rare variation of this LP!
Labels Condition: VG Very nice and clean, completely free from graffiti/rips/stickers/stains etc. Just a few light spindle trails visible when angled under strong, direct light, and a few very small dots of age related mottling, quite possibly cleanable, again only really visible when angled and caught in direct light.
Sleeve Condition: VG-/VG Generally really nice, but a very slight wear-through along the spine knocks the grade down a bit, the spine is still fairly legible however. The other edges are nice and strong with absolutely no wear-throughs, and very little wear at all, still quite crisp. The corners and opening mouth edges apart from a little age related foxing, are very nice ,with absolutely no rips or nicks. Both front and back have only very light signs of handling, and are completely free from grafitti/stains/tears/stickers etc. etc. It's just that slight  3cm wear-through to the centre of the spine that slightlylets it all down.
