I have been Collecting Original Beatles Records,Memorabilia & Ephemera  since 1962.  Due to my continued poor health I have  decided to sell various items from  My Extensive Private Collection.

CONDITION;

Please Note; In my opinion the grading of vinyl records and sleeves is at best subjective                      So with this in mind I will always err on the side of caution with my                      Grading’s. Which are based on the ‘Record Collector‘ UK Grading’s                         There seems to be far too many  vinyl records being offered for sale that are                     Not realistcally graded.


DISC;  -  LABELS ,                 EXCELLENT +   /     EXCELLENT MINUS
Both Labels are in very nice condition “, all the silver and yellow lettering looks in as new condition.  They show NO extra writing, stickers or sticker removal residue. The side 2 disc label shows some foxing marks to the black background When angled into a strong light there just a few very feint small spindle trails, There is virtually no sign of any spindle hole wear or paper rubs around the spindle hole.



DISC;  VISUAL,                       EXCELLENT  /      EXCELLENT MINUS

PLEASE READ  CAREFULLY
In normal daylight this heavy vinyl disc shows both disc surfaces to be in very nice condition,  Both sides have retained their beautiful deep black gloss sheen On side I could detect NO stylus marks or scratches of any kind the vinyl looks simply superb  Side 2 is very similar with again NO visible stylus marks or scratches
 Under my unforgiving Double Halogen  desk lamp both sides of the disk show some feint and light wispybag removal hairlines which are a little more prevalent  on side 2, there is also some feint bag rash to the side 2 vinyl which is purely cosmetic.
                        
DISC;   AUDIO,                        EXCELLENT   / EXCELLENT
During one very careful play of both sides of this disc using a  dedicated stereo cartridge  the Audio was SIMPLY  SUPERB, Deep rich and Punchy Apart from a little very light static on the run in’ and out’s and a few light dust pops and light Static ostensibly  in some of the tracks banding it was a sheer pleasure to listen to. George’s lead guitar work sounded crystal clear, SUPERB. There was of course NO skips, or stalls
In my opinion it would be very hard to improve on this Audio, I am sure that it will not disappoint.  

INNER;                                       EXCELLENT   
The Emitex Rice Paper Lined Inner shows NO seam splits, extra writing or stickers,  the die cut circles are also excellent without any  nicks, it shows just a little and inevitable light creasing / age toning.

GATEFOLD SLEEVE;          Front Panel;                            EXCELLENT   MINUS         
The  Gatefold outer sleeve is the ORIGINAL FIRST PRINT  fully laminated darker photo sleeve  with the factory pinched spine corners, Outline STEREO text to the front top right corner.
As my fellow Beatles Vinyl Collectors will know only too well, this Gatefold sleeve has proved To be a bit of a disaster from a design point of view due mainly to the flimsy construction with  an internal disc pocket for the disc storage. It is becoming ever harder to find a nice copy with a respectable sleeve,  fortunately this sleeve has survived better than many.   The front still retains a very nice high gloss sheen, it shows a few light  edge  thumbnails ostensibly to the spine  and just a couple of very small laminate spider. The only negative is that  approximately 7 cms in from the spine edge there is a crease That runs vertically down the sleeve, this is  more noticeable when the sleeve is angled into a very strong light. Had it not been for this crease line I would have graded the front panel higher.
The top and bottom gatefold seams are free from any splitting or heavy rubbing,  the spine is still firm and retains much of it’s squareness, all the spine text is clear and unrubbed,  the factory pinched spine edge ends are still in firm, clean condition. 
The opening edges are still sharp and there is very little rubbing to the corners.

Flipbacks;                                 EXCELLENT +
The internal   Flipbacks are in  clean  and firm condition with NO missing paper,  they show  just a couple of light  thumbnail creases but NO rips or tears.

Inner gatefold                            EXCELLENT 
The Inner Gatefold is in very nice clean condition and shows NO rips, tears or heavy creasing. ( apart from the light crease on Ringo’s picture as discussed above.) The inner disc storage open edge is still very sharp and shows  no nicks or splits .

Back Panel;                                EXCELLENT     The back panel is also in very nice clean condition, it shows NO splits, tears or heavy creases  It shows just some very light small edge thiumbnails ostensibly to the spine and bottom edge,  again when angled into light there is just a hint of a part disc rim impression to the bottom left    back corner. but apart from that there is little else to fault it.

SLEEVE OVERALL GRADING IS A FIRM,  EXCELLENT MINUS
                      

In my opinion this is a respectable overall example of this sought after Beatles Album And represents an ideal future investment for a young or new Beatles Record Collector.
