THE GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE HAS REMAINED VERY SOLID AND GRADES VG+.IT HAS SOME LIGHT EDGE CREASING.SOME LIGHT MARKS AND AGEING SPOTS BUT OVERALL IS STILL A GREAT SLEEVE.
THE LABELS ARE EXCELLENT WITH MINIMAL SPINDLE WEAR AND SOME STREAKY MARKS THAT WILL PROBABLY CLEAN OFF.
THE VINYL HAS RETAINED A BEAUTIFUL GLOSSY SHEEN AND HAS SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES AND MARKS BUT NOTHING FEELABLE.I WOULD GRADE IT VISUALLY VG+.PLAYBACK WAS EXCELLENT
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
