Again/Hey Jude
Rejected album cover artwork #2
Apple records prepared several versions of the Again album cover (later retitled to "Hey Jude"). This is the second version of that album design that was ultimately rejected. The front cover was changed by moving the back cover of Version #1 to the front and moving the front cover to the back, reducing its size and putting a magenta border around it.
This item is a mock up of what this album jacket design would have looked had this design been used.
This album is intended to remain sealed.*
1. Constructed like the originals (i.e. two slicks pasted over a blank jacket)!
2. Writing on the spine just like the original!
3. Shipped in a box designed specifically for albums. Sandwiched between two cardboard filler pads.
*The vinyl inside is not a Beatles record. This display item is meant to remain sealed.
