Description
Vinyl 7" 1st Press Yes there is some wear & tear old age scuff marks, little noise on side B and some writing in the middle both sides. Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd: 7XCE 17144 45: Recording first published 1962: Made in Great Britain. Parlophone. Side A: Love Me Do (Lennon-McCartney) The Beatles Side B: P.S I Love You (Lennon-McCartney) The Beatles Printed in the groove is ZT. I have played both sides of this record twice and it works really good.
Info research found:
In January 1963 Parlophone ceased production of its red label design. Consequently original issues of "Love me Do" & "Please Please Me" were issued with red labels including the 45 prefix in the catalogue number, although 78-RPM records had ceased production by the late 50's. A ZT tax code stamped in the groove like this one denotes a pressing made before mid Nov 1962.
