Description
- "Love Me Do" b/w "P.S. I Love You" by The Beatles, an original UK pressing on the red Parlophone label (45-R 4949) from 1962. Stamped matrices 7XCE - 17144 - 1N and 7XCE - 17145 - 1N. ZT1 and 0 at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock on side 1. ZT1 and what appears to be Y at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock on side 2. The vinyl is well worn with any number of surface marks but it plays (both sides) without jumps or clicks. There is the inevitable surface noise but this is only relatively light and the music, as a piece of history, is perfectly listenable.Writing on label on side 1 (see picture - McNelis written in pen, Anne written in pencil in the centre).
