THE BEATLES: ‘A HARD DAY’S NIGHT’ – AN ORIGINAL EARLY 1964 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE mono 1st PRESSING UK VINYL LP PMC 1230.
ORIGINAL, COMPLETE, AND IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION TOO.
This is an ORIGINAL 1964 UK pressing mono Vinyl LP for The Beatles third UK Album Release, and their first Movie ‘A Hard Day’s Night’
The album is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Recording First Published 1964’, Sold in UK and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
The official machine stamped side 1 matrix is XEX 481-3N and Side XEX 482-3N
The album comes in its correct and Lined Printed Bag and is housed in its ORIGINAL first issue ‘mono’ front laminated sleeve with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The album plays without faults, a perfect clear mono sound quality.
Both record labels are in excellent condition for age as pictured. Printed text is unfaded, there are a few signs of play to the centre of the labels, beautiful record labels.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in beautiful excellent condition, the heavyweight vinyl disc is simply superb, I have inspected both sides of the disc and there are only a couple of light surface hairlines, otherwise a stunning vinyl LP for its age.
The lined inner bag is in good condition , clean and with just some storage creasing.
The front laminated picture sleeve is in great condition, the sleeve is in beautiful condition for its age. The sleeve is a good condition with slight age related wear. The front of the sleeve shows the mildest of record storage and just a couple of small manufacturing laminate pinches, the spine edge are perfect, the reverse of this sleeve is clean just mild handling signs to the opening edge, all three flipbacks are perfect, with just light age toning.
My father who was a music journalist at the time wrote his name on the reverse top left corner as pictured and also ticked the tracks listed as pictured.
I'm not a record dealer this record comes from a vast inherited record collection. I will list more Beatles first editions along with Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones and many other artists from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Please keep me saved as a seller.
