Odeon Del Peru – PCS 7027 / Peru / 1967

Label variant of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band :

– The album title is printed on two rows instead of three;

– The label matrices start with E-PERU, not PERU.

Track B4 (Side 2, Track 4) title is misspelt "Good Mornig Good Morning" on the record label.

THIS UNIQUE MISSPELLING HAS NOT BEEN NOTED ON ANY OTHER EDITIONS THAT HAVE BEEN ON SALE ONLINE. NO KNOWLEDGE OF ITS LEVEL OF SCARCITY.

CONDITION: Cover is VG++ Plastic outer cover has tear in the back, and the slick has a 1” tear by the opening. These covers are unlike normal US or UK pressings. They are basically laminated cover ‘slicks’ wrapped in plastic. LP is VG- with many surface scuffs and a few scratches, but plays (Larry) fine. MB $25
