A RARE EDITION OF THE FIRST BEATLES LP
There can't be many of this issue.
In this condition it's a nice collectable, especially for the completist.
This original British pressing LP is a significant album of early BEATLES lps, the debut "Please Please Me" ... at the time when the boys were yet to cause manic fervour, singles shooting to the "toppermost of the poppermost" British charts!
At the time of this issue, the company had recently changed to this updated lable style, and were trying to assert the correct publisher credits - and tax codes too!
It's the Yellow & Black lable, and probably among the first print changes.
This has been handled with care,, and rare like this.
Playing clearly, strong album as produced by the studio master - George Martin, when he and the group had just met, and were yet to fully get to know each other.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT.
There are no scratches and only light signs of handling.
Yellow on Black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG+, no stains, stickers or pen.
The LAMINATED and especially HEAVY CARD (early prints are extra thick) 3-tab COVER is VG++, a very presentable example.
Flat, light wear, all text is all clear and clean.
A lined 'EMITEX' inner is included, it is also in clean condition.
