Description
The Beatles---"Please Please Me"---Original UK Pressed Black And Gold Crossover Mono Album In VG Condition On The 2nd Press Black And Gold Parlophone Label---1 and 1 (2GL & 12GM) From 1963---With Both, Northern Songs And Dick James Credits---Rare Version!!
This is a UK copy from 1963 in stereo on the black and gold Parlophone label, cat. no. PMC 1202 with matrix -1 and -1 (2GL and 12GM).
Vinyl: VG. The vinyl is in ok condition with quite a few scratches and marks. It plays with great sound and just has some surface noise but has 3 clicks between tracks 3 and 4 on side 1, double clicking at the end of track 4 and into track 5 and 1 jump om track 5 side 1. Side 2 track 1 has 2 jumps.
Labels: VG+. Labels are in great condition with just a few little markings. There are normal use spindle lines. These are the crossover labels with the Northern Songs credits on side 1 and the Dick James credits on side 2 making this a rare version 2nd press.
Sleeve: EX. The Ernest J Day sleeve is in very solid condition with some edge and corner wear. Laminate has a nice shine on the front and, other than a name written, the back is nice and bright. Flips are in pretty good and very solid condition and the Angus McBean frnt credit is the 2nd press (moved slightly to the left).
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
