THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME 33 1/3 STEREO parlophone
You are invited to bid on this copy of The Beatles Please Please Me album.
It is in Stereo. PCS3042. Label says Made in Gt Britain. Sold in the UK subject to resale price conditions. YEX.94. p1963
You should be able to see the codes on the label, but on the vinyl itself either side of the label is some stamped codes. Side One has YEX 94 - 1 to bottom of the label as you look at it and 1.1D to the right, a single 2 to the left. On side two it is YEX95-1 and what looks like A0 to the right and a single 1 to the left. Its all a bit foreign to me, but if it helps I can try and add a pic of those, let me know.
The record is in good condition visually with a few light scratches. I am told they do not affect the sound quality, though I have not listened to myself. I will try to do so as soon as I can. I am told it plays very nicely and comes in a printed advertising paper inner sleeve. The outer sleeve is in good condition with a photo by Angus McBean on the front. Please note, this description is how I see it, and not record collector talk.
All records will be posted within a couple of days of cleared payment being recieved and will be sent in a strong card backed record mailer.
Any questions? Please ask.
I will stress the point that I am no expert in records. I know record collectors have their own grading system, but I am not familiar with it, so I will describe all of the 100+ records I am listing as I see them as honestly and accurately as I can and if I can glean any info from other listings I will use that. Likewise, any information you can offer me will be greatfully received and added to the listing. If you check my feedback, you will see I am a vintage clothing dealer. I am listing well over 100 records in the next week or so on behalf of a friend who has fallen on hard times. He tells me some of his collection is worth good money, but I really don't know or have the time to investigate any further. Each record will start at £4.99 and will have no BUY it NOW price. This is an auction and will run to the end.
If records are your thing, please check out my other listings. There are records from The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Simon & Garfunkel, David Bowie, and so many more. Oh, and if you fancy buying a pair of jeans or a cowboy shirt while you're at it, feel free.
Please Supersize all the photographs. This will give you a good idea of what you are bidding on.
Please feel free to View My Other Items For Sale for more vintage goodies.
Postage price will go up if the record happens to go above £36, otherwise it will not be insured. This will be ammended upon checkout should it be the case.
Payment is to be made within five days of the auction ending. Paypal, Cheques, and Postal Orders are all acceptable forms of payment. If sending payment by post, please wait for the checkout. I will send my details. Bidders from outside the UK, please use Paypal.
Inland Shipping and Handling for this item is detailed below. I will try to ship as soon as possible after payment has cleared, but please allow up to five working days. Insurance is included for all items. This makes international postage fairly expensive. I am sorry. I have had to implement this due to a couple of dishonest overseas bidders. Saying they have not recieved the goods. Thanks to the wonder that is Paypal, I lose the money. I know these people are in the vast minority, but when it happens, it hurts my pocket and I cannot afford to lose money and am no longer prepared to do so. If you are viewing this from outside the UK and you object to paying the high postage price, please DO NOT BID. Postage discounts will be given, so please wait for me to send you an invoice if you have won / bought more than one item.
Ebay have now introduced another rule to further harm the selling activities of sellers. I cannot charge more than £4 as the firt inland postage option. If I can do it for £4, then great, however, lots of things cost much more than that at the post office. If it is a heavy item you are looking at, please use the second option. Yes it will be more than £4, but it will be recorded and well packaged. If I am to take a hit on the postage and packaging, I will have to send by the cheapest possible means and in nothing more than a recycled asda bag and some sticky tape, sorry.
I can only give refunds when an item has been grossly misrepresented. Size is not a reason for a refund, I will always give measured sizings and list what the label says. Please read each listing carefully and if in doubt, email me and I will endeavor to answer before the end of the auction. Please leave feedback and I will do the same. If there is a problem, please allow me the chance to remedy it before leaving negative feedback, because, if I have made a mistake, it will be just that, a genuine mistake.
Here at Cleo's Vintage Clothing we have a love for vintage clothing. I have been collecting, buying and selling all manner of Vintage Clothing for over 12 years now. We try to list every item as honestly as possible. All the items are used, so that means, something that is described as great or very good, may still not look like new. That is what makes Vintage Clothing so appealing. You can get a pretty good idea of what we are about by checking my feedback. View My Feedback
