THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME
very rare 1963 UK 1st pressing PARLOPHONE mono LP PMC 1202
with extremely rare black and gold labels
VINYL IN GOOD++ CONDITION The vinyl displays many surface marks and scratches, and there is some obvious groove wear visible to Side 2, track 1, but nevertheless the record does not jump or stick and actually plays very well. The groove wear mentioned causes a few moments of distortion and interference, but on the whole it doesn't seriously affect the audio. There is a name in pen to both labels (see photos), but the labels, overall, are respectable. Visually, it's hard to grade higher than GOOD+, but the audio, as stated, is overall VERY GOOD.
SLEEVE IN VERY GOOD(-) CONDITION Again, some obvious ageing and wear, but you will definitely find worse covers out there. There are 2 lines of tape stain, but the tape has now been removed and the sleeve is solid and holding together without issues. The Angus McBean credit is correctly aligned to the right of the second 's' of "songs".
