THE BEATLES – PLEASE PLEASE ME
A chance to own an original pressing of Please Please Me on the Parlophone Black & Yellow Label. I believe this to be a 7th pressing and very rare owing to the Small Mono Tag on the top right hand corner of the sleeve and the different font used. This is the last pressing on the Yellow and Black label before the transition to the more modern black and silver labels. Not only is this a scarce permutation of Please Please Me but the record is in absolutely amazing condition (see below).

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG++
There is some very slight discolouration to the rear of the Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, this is the reason for downgrading from EX. There are a couple of laminate wrinkles to the front. Spine is true and straight with all text clean, clear and legible. Surfaces are clean and free from any major damage. There are, of course, no rips or tears or other serious defects. Comes complete with original and correct Parlophone inner which is in EX+ condition with no splits or tears.
RECORD: EX-
A couple of very light sleeve removal marks can be seen under bright light along with a single hairline on Side A. This is not feelable and only sounds during the end of the final track ‘Please Please Me’. Even in the space between tracks there is no discernable crackle. The whole record sounds absolutely phenomenal with absolutely no evidence of groove wear.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY GRADING (Which is hope is very unlikely) PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK.

I calculate postage using the Royal mail postage calculator. I charge an extra 50p for packing materials as i buy specialist record mailers and stiffeners. Sometimes records cost less to mail than i expect. In these cases i try to refund the difference. However, as I mail a number of records at one time i occasionally lose track of who paid what postage for which record. RATHER THAN LEAVING LESS THAN 5 STAR FEEDBACK, IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR POSTAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL IMMEDIATELY REFUND YOU THE DIFFERENCE.
NO QUIBBLE FULL MONEY BACK GAUARANTEE IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE!
