THE BEATLES - 'Please Please Me' - ORIGINAL 1963 Red Parlophone 45-R 4983 45rpm single.
GOOD Condition vinyl. Sleeve is in Very Good condition.

Notes – good condition 45 (vinyl) - has obviously been played and shows spindle wear. Comes in a Very Good condition Parlophone green sleeve. This is an original 4-prong centre (still fully intact) 1963 45rpm single from the Beatles. It has the McCartney - Lennon credit on the A side, and the same credit on the B side. The labels are Very Good condition. The 'A' side has the name 'Roy' written on the centre (see scan).
Issued on Parlophone Records. The original Red Parlophone label with 'Dick James Music Co. Ltd. credit at 9 o'clock on the label. No 'Made in Great Britain' text.
The Catalogue number is 45-R 4983.
Run-out matrix numbers -
A side - 7XCE 17217 - 1N / and B side - 7XCE 17218 - 1N. MPT tax code to A side and MPT tax code to B side. VERY EARLY & RARE PRESS.

CONDITION –
The vinyl is in Good condition.
The labels are in Very Good condition.
The sleeve is in Very Good condition.
(Record Collector gradings).
The all important labels are in very good condition. There is writing on the 'A' side (see scan) though no other blemishes, the text is striking and clearly legible with NO fading, they are in very good condition. The spindle is clean and shows evidence of wear and signs of visible playing.
Many copies of this 45 when released were taken to parties and played endlessly, often scratched until they were unplayable. This copy however has been played and looked after.
The vinyl is in good condition with some hairline marks.
The most outstanding aspect of this copy is the overall clean nature of the record and it plays with relatively little surface noise or static pops. This 45 single has clearly been played, loved and treasured by a keen collector. The quality of the sound makes the playing of the disc a pleasure with few allowances having to be made for its 50+ year vintage, which is astounding in itself.
The sleeve is a green Parlophone die-cut sleeve.
This single is becoming increasingly rare.
